Goa Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) executive member and Boxing Federation of India joint-secretary Danuska Da Gama has passed the IBA (International Boxing Association) International Technical Official Exam recently held in Bangkok, Thailand. She becomes the first Indian Female ITO of the BFI, states a press release by GABA.
The press communique further stated that there were 24 candidates from all over the world, at the exams out of which only 6 cleared, Danuska being one of them. The former GABA secretary and its current treasurer can now be nominated for IBA International Boxing Tournaments and World Championships as an International Technical Official.
