PANAJI: Goa Cricket Association’s Under-19 fitness-cum-nets camp commenced at GCA Academy-Porvorim on Monday morning.
Twenty seven players are part of the U-19 talent pool in this pre-season training programme.
The boys seemed excited to return to nets camp after a frustrating spell away due to Covid situation and the energy was there to be seen as lifting of the group training restrictions, fill the players with hopes and promise for the upcoming 2021-22 cricket season.
Head coach Rajesh Kamath is in charge with former Ranji Trophy player Rahul Keni as the assistant. Ninad Pawaskar has been appointed trainer.
