Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant welcomed Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz in Goa on Saturday.
The German Chancellor will be visiting two German ships, Frigate ‘Baden-Wurttemberg’ and a supply ship, ‘Frankfurt am Main’, which are making port calls in Goa as part of ongoing interactions and exchanges between the armed forces of India & Germany.
Scholz on his arrival in the state, addressed an event at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus in Sancaole, South Goa. He also interacted with students of BITS Pilani.
Meanwhile, Consule General, Germany in Mumbai, Achim Fabig was received by Admiral H. Risch from German Frigate “Baden-Württemberg” upon its arrivial at Mormugao Port.
