GIM’S DR. ANAMIKA TO HEAD NEWLY-FORMED NHRDN GOA CHAPTER

National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN), the largest national apex body of HR professionals, launched its Goa branch on Saturday. The NHRDN is committed to promoting the Human Resource Development movement in the country and enhancing the capability of human resource professionals to compete globally.

The NHRDN is India’s largest HR body with over 17,700 members in 39 Chapters all over India and in Singapore and Dubai as well. The event was presided by Aman Rajaballi, President of NHRDN Pune Chapter in the presence of Anand Khot, National Secretary National HRD Network and Dhananjay Singh, Director General of National HRD Network. Ayushi Kumari, Assistant Collector of North Goa, was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function.

Raju Gawas, Commissioner of Labour and Employment, graced the function as a Guest of
Honour. Usha Singh, Regional President (West) was a Special Invitee along with Dr. Ajit Parulekar, Director of Goa Institute of Management.

Dr Anamika Sinha of Goa Institute of Management, is the President of the Goa Chapter with Arjun Khanna as the Vice-President, Yogesh Kerkar as the general secretary, Shailendra Deorukhkar as the Treasurer. Swapnil Gupta and Nirmesh Tyagi are the Executive Members.

The function saw an engaging session by Pramod Mahatme on Industrial Relations. Steve Correa enlightened the audience on the topic of ‘The Importance of Coaching’ in the current world followed by panel discussion on the topic ‘The Future of Work: Technology in HR.’ The panelists included Swapnil Gupta, Abhishek Jain, Shubhendu Shome and Arjun Khanna.
