Goa Guardians, the newest franchise in the Prime Volleyball League, successfully hosted a high-intensity coaching clinic at their pre-season venue, Don Bosco Oratory, Panaji.

The clinic brought together 16 of Goa’s most promising coaches for a transformative learning experience.

Leading the sessions were Guardians’ elite coaching team – Head Coach TC Jothish, Head of Player Development and former US international Ryan Meehan, Assistant Coach Viral Shah, and Strength & Conditioning Coach Felipe Alvares.

Together, they delved into advanced technical and tactical aspects of volleyball, the science of strength and conditioning, and on-court practical demonstrations.

Speaking on the occasion, Head Coach TC Jothish said, “To build the future of Indian volleyball, it is vital that we train our young coaches with the right methodology and advanced concepts. The earlier we empower them with modern practices, the stronger the next generation of players will be.”

Participants included notable names such as Aaron Pereira (former professional player), Prahlad Dawaskar (Head Coach, Goa Police), and Ajit D’Almeida (Head of Physical Education, Don Bosco Panjim).

The clinic reinforced Goa Guardians’ vision of not just competing at the highest level but also shaping Goa into a hub for volleyball excellence.
