PANAJI: Goa Olympic Association (GOA) delegation comprising of secretary-general Gurudatta Bhakta, and members Mac Vaz, Sunil Morajkar, Rajendra Godinho and Sandeep Heble felicitated V M Prabhudesai, following his promotion as Director of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, informs a GOA press note.
“SAG is in the process of clearing the grants due to athletes and Associations shortly. The prize money of Goan athletes who have excelled at National and International level will be cleared immediately,” revealed Prabhudesai, who is also the executive director of Sports Authority of Goa and is due for retirement next year.
“There are so many plans in my mind, mentoring young students and sportspersons, writing books and so much more that I want to pursue,” he is quoted as saying.
