Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Goa Saras Exhibition & Sale of Handicrafts and Food items at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, today.
Law Minister, Aleixo Sequeira, Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Dessai, MLA UlhasTuenkar and others were also present.
Dr Sawant complimented the ‘Naari Shakti’ on the occasion for being the biggest driving force in furthering the initiative of Swayampurna Goa. He also motivated them, saying: “Women from the age group of 30 to 60 years in Goa, have the potential to number up to 2 lakh ‘Lakhpati Didis’ in the state. That is how big the scope is for your growth under the Rural Development Agency programmes,” underlined the Chief Minister.
