KTCL Goa Miles App is set to bring in a revolution in transportation across the state, according to the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, who launched the App in the presence of Transport and Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho; MLA & Chairman of KTCL Ulhas Tuenkar.
The multi-modal transport app will enhance last mile connectivity in the state and will be a boon for the residents as well as tourists, emphasised the Chief Minister.
The Government of Goa’s tieup with Goa Miles for the services via the app, will offer real-time tracking of Kadamba buses, integrated payments for Kadamba bus tickets, simplified booking with single app for different modes of transportation including public transport, taxi, rickshaw or motorcycle pilot.
Dr Sawant hailed the Goa Miles management for taking it on themselves to operate and manage the app that he termed as a ‘tough ask’. He also assured the existing Transport service-providers that their businesses will not be affected.
