The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, successfully hosted the Goa Roadshow 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 2nd December 2024 at the Hotel Wyndham Grand Tbilisi, Sky Venue. This invite-only event marked a significant milestone in promoting Goa as a sought-after travel destination for Georgian tourists, states a press release.

The roadshow provided attendees, including travel industry stakeholders and media representatives, with an in-depth look at Goa’s distinctive offerings. Director Tourism, Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, presented a compelling overview of Goa’s unmatched tourism potential, complemented by an awe-inspiring video showcasing the state’s pristine beaches, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant festivities.

Reflecting on the event’s success, Director Toourism,  Anchipaka said, “The Georgian market holds immense promise for Goa’s tourism. Through this roadshow, we aimed to establish deeper connections, showcase Goa’s unparalleled experiences, and address the expectations of Georgian travelers. We are confident this initiative will enhance their understanding of what Goa has to offer and will result in Goa welcoming more charters and tourists from Georgia.”

The evening came alive with the taste of the state’s artistic vibrancy. An engaging Q&A session further allowed Georgian stakeholders to share insights and discuss ways to improve travel experiences. Individual meetings with Goa Tourism representatives provided personalised attention, fostering meaningful collaborations.

GOA BUILDS NEW BRIDGES WITH TRAVELERS FROM POLAND

Department of Tourism, meanwhile, wrapped up the Goa Roadshow 2024 in Warsaw, Poland, on 5th December 2024 at the Novotel Warszawa Centrum, Roza Hall, marking a memorable event aimed at fostering closer ties with Poland’s travel community.

The exclusive invite-only event showcased Goa’s diverse attractions and positioned the state as an appealing destination for Polish travelers. Visitors were captivated by a detailed presentation by Director Tourism, Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, which highlighted Goa’s unique blend of scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. A vivid video further brought Goa’s iconic charm to life for the audience. Her Excellency Nagma Mohamed Mallick, Ambassador of India to Poland, and Mohan Lal, Counsellor, graced the pavilion with their esteemed presence. Their visit underscored the strong cultural and tourism ties between India and Poland, adding significance to the event.
