Goa will take on Delhi in the pre-quarterfinals of the 41st Senior Women’s Netball National Championship in progress at Sonipat, Haryana.
Giving a good account of themselves, the Goan girls won two matches and went down fighting in one match; of the league stage.
Goa defeated Nagaland 25-3 to open their campaign on a thumping note. They scored a comprehensive 38-20 victory over Pondicherry. However, Goa went down narrowly to UP with a scoreline of 46-54.
