Department of Tourism (Goa Tourism), Government of Goa, in collaboration with the World Legends Pro T20 League, organised a Trophy Tour and Player Interaction at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Ground, aimed at encouraging women participation and promoting youth engagement through sports at Porvorim today.
The initiative aimed to inspire and promote greater participation of youth and women in sports by creating meaningful engagement with legendary cricketers and celebrating the unifying power of sport. The evening brought together aspiring sportspersons, students, and cricket enthusiasts for an interactive and motivational experience.
To further encourage active participation, a fun and engaging quiz segment was organised, with official merchandise and match tickets up for grabs. The evening concluded with a photo opportunity, allowing attendees to capture memorable moments with the players and the World Legends Pro T20 League trophy.
Speaking on the occasion, Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said: “Sports have the extraordinary power to inspire, empower, and transform lives. They nurture confidence, resilience, and leadership, while fostering values such as teamwork, discipline, and inclusivity.
