Goa University conducted the Inter-Collegiate Swimming Championships 2024-25 for men and women on 26th July at the SAG Swimming Pool Complex, Campal. A total of 10 events were conducted.
Aryan Sharma of Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, bagged the
Best Swimmer award in men’s category. Tanisha Murgod of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, clinched the Best Swimmer prize in women’s category.
Dhempe College emerged the top team in the men’s event while Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, were the runners-up. The third place went to Padre Conceicao College of Engineering.
In the women’s competition, St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, clinched the title. Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, finished as the runners-up, while Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre occupied the third position.

· 200 M Free Style: Aryan Sharma (2:16:31) Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar.

Dr. Sushant Haldankar, College Director of Physical Education and Sports for DM’s Mandals College and Research Centre, Assagao, was the chief guest. Balachandra Jadar, Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, also graced the occasion.
