PANAJI: The Goa Yachting Association (GYA) will hold a sailing camp to impart the knowledge of windsurfing to students from 10-15 years age-group, from April 5 to 9 between 2pm to 5.30pm at Hawaii Beach-Dona Paula.
Each camp will be of at least four days and will introduce basic windsurfing to the students, who will have to follow up and practice to achieve proficiency; according to a GYA press note.
The camp will be conducted by experienced windsurfers – Derrick Menezes, Remmie Fernandes, Domnic Fernandes and Sunil Rajani.
Only 10 students will be admitted per camp and timings are subject to change depending upon the wind conditions. If there are more than 10 students, then an additional camp will be held later, adds the press note.
