Qurious Mind Infotainment Pvt. Ltd., a registered startup from Goa, has expanded its REACH initiative to Zimbabwe, Africa, in association with STEM Quest Lab and the Institute of Entrepreneurs, Zimbabwe. This programme aims to make STEM education accessible and affordable, bringing hands-on robotics learning to students across five provinces in Zimbabwe.
For the next seven days, the Qurious Mind team will engage with schools, conduct interactive workshops, and inspire young learners to explore, create, and innovate with robotics. The programme will culminate in the STEM Quest Challenge, where students will showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills through robotics-based challenges.
Qurious Mind is led by directors Manoj Jamsandekar and Yogesh Kerkar, with Kalpak Nayak and Prabita Sawant Desai as robotics trainers. Joining the team for this international expansion are Venkatesh Babladi from Rambet Solutions, Panaji, and Sanjay Chopra from Silicon Valley, Panaji, strengthening the mission with their expertise in STEM education and technology.
Speaking about this milestone, Yogesh Kerkar, Managing Director of Qurious Mind, said: “We believe that every child, regardless of their location, should have access to quality STEM education. Our journey in Zimbabwe is a step towards bridging the global education gap and empowering young minds with future-ready skills.”
The foundation for this expansion was laid during the Vibrant Goa Expo, organised by the Vibrant Goa Foundation, which facilitated international partnerships for Qurious Mind’s outreach.
By bringing robotics education to Africa, Qurious Mind continues to empower the next generation of innovators, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, build, and dream big with robotics.
