Priyanshu Saunskrutik Saunstha, Porvorim, in collaboration with the Directorate of Art and Culture and Institute Menezes Braganza, organised the annual, 11th edition of Indian Classical Music concert ‘Samarpan’; in the memory of late Suresh Duble and Shashikant Duble.
Late Suresh and Shashikant Duble are the father and uncle of Dr. Shilpa Duble-Parab, the
leading Hindustani Classical Vocalist and State Awardee of Goa. The programme, which was held on 15th March 2025 at IMB Panaji, featured Rushikesh Phadke from Ponda on Tabla; Medha Bhat-Aggere from Karnataka and Dr. Pravin Gaonkar from Goa (both Vocal recitals), accompanied by Sanket Khalap and Dr. Uday Kulkarni on Tabla; Anurag Desai, Gopinath Gawas on Harmonium, and Wasim Khan on Sarangi. Neha Upadhye compered the concert.
Damodar alias Bhai Shewde, a veteran artist, guru and State Awardee of Goa, was the chief guest. Sunil Dublay, Padmaja Joshi and member secretary of Institute Menezes Braganza, Ashok Parab also graced the occasion, along with music lovers.
