Goa Table Tennis Association headed by Sudin Verenkar has extended its wholehearted support to the Para Table Tennis Committee for the development of Para Table Tennis in Goa, stated a press release.

In their meeting at Campal on Sunday, the discussion ranged from strategies for development, plans for conducting coaching camps dedicated to Para Table Tennis players, the organisation of tournaments specific to this category and the potential participation of Para Table Tennis players in the upcoming National Championship and focusing on their victory. The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue and collaborative decision-making to foster the growth and inclusivity of Table Tennis within the Para community in Goa. The emphasis on coaching camps and tournaments reflects the commitment to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for Para Table Tennis players to excel at both regional and national levels.

The meeting’s agenda was comprehensive, covering a range of issues crucial to the development and advancement of Para Table Tennis in the region.  The meeting was attended by Sudin Verenkar, GTTA President; Narayan Ghatkar, Member, GTTA; Vishant Nagvekar, President, Para Table Tennis Committee under Goa Table Tennis Association; Lloyd Fernandes, Member, PTTC / National Gold Medallist; Gopal P Naik, Member, PTTC; Durgadas Gaunekar, Para TT player, Mosik Sayad, Para TT player (National), Dharmanna Kuri, Para TT player, Durgadas Naik, Para TT player.
