PANAJI: In line with its commitment of enabling communication across the nation, Indus Towers Limited has installed a new telecom tower here in Goa, states a press release.
The new telecom tower installed by Indus Towers demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing affordable, high-quality and reliable services for the growing network connectivity needs of India. As part of the Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020, the state has sanctioned 255 mobile towers to be installed in different parts of the state.
Dr Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister, said: “In line with the vision of Digital India of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Goa is at the cusp of a ‘digital kranti’. Several initiatives such as the Goa startup policy, online services portal and introduction of Coding and Robotics education policy at the school level are being undertaken to create a digital ecosystem conducive in the state. Mobile towers are good as they are critical to the digital revolution that power not only the education but can also bring change to the entire socio-economic spectrum. I congratulate Indus Towers on the installation of a new mobile tower in Panaji, Goa which will further strengthen telecommunication infrastructure in the state.”
