Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has hailed Kineco Aerospace & Defence and Boeing India on the launch of the ‘Kaushal Program’ in Goa under the Skill India Mission.
In his social media post, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating: “This program is a step in strengthening India’s Aerospace & Defence sector while championing diversity and inclusion. It is heartening to see the first batch include 20 female technicians, reflecting Kineco and Boeing’s commitment to women’s empowerment in this high-tech industry. Future batches will also include Divyangs, ensuring equitable opportunities in this dynamic sector.”
Dr Sawant emphasised on the
Swayampurna Goa 2.0 initiative wherein the Government of Goa remains committed to skilling, reskilling, and upskilling youth, driving the vision of Viksit Goa, Viksit Bharat. “I congratulate Kineco CMD Shekhar Sardesai, Boeing India, and Goa IDC MD Pravimal Abhishek for this collaborative effort, which will equip Goa’s youth with essential skills and open vast career opportunities,” asserted Dr. Sawant.
