Directorate of Agriculture will organise Krishi Mohatsav 2024 an agriculture exhibition on 24th and 25th February at Ravindra Bhavan , Sakhali. The aim of the event is to disseminate information about emerging improved technologies in the Agriculture sector and create overall awareness about government programmes for the benefit of the farmers.
Hi-Tech Agri inputs, Machinery and Equipments, Fertigation, Micro Irrigation, Organic Farming, Post-Harvest Technology, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, Processing and Value Addition, and other initiatives will be showcased at the exhibition.
That apart, training programmes will be held in connection with Mushroom production, Honeybee cultivation, branding and marketing of value-added products, grafting, among other topics.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will inaugurate the exhibition in the presence of Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik at 11am.
