Morjim Beach in Pernem takuka, has being recognised as the “Best Beach Destination” at the prestigious India Today Tourism Survey & Awards 2025. As such, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant praised the Department of Tourism for their efforts to strive for enhancing the state’s beauty in general.
“This award is a reflection of the warm hospitality that makes our state a preferred destination for travelers worldwide. I commend the dedication of Goa Tourism, local communities, and industry stakeholders for their commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism. Let us continue to work towards enhancing Goa’s global tourism appeal while preserving its natural beauty!,” stated the Chief Minister.
