Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant attended the National Science Day programme at the Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sankhali.
Eminent scientist Dr. Sharad Kale, who has been recently appointed as Special Advisor to Chief Minister, also graced the occasion.
The ex-scientist of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, delivered an insightful talk on ‘Science in Everyday Life.’
The Chief Minister also witnessed the signing of MoU between the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE)& the Government of Goa to launch the ‘Student Skilling Program,’ aimed at equipping Goa’s youth with industry-relevant skills in the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector.
Dr Sawant advised the students to adopt scientific way of life even if they do not pursue higher education in any stream of Science. He urged them to dream as they are the future of the ‘Viksit Bharat’ goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
