As a part of celebrations of upcoming National Science Day (February 28), Goa is hosting events to boost the knowledge of Science at all levels.
Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai on Monday, inaugurated the 22nd National Space Science Symposium organized by Goa University in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at Dr.Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Taleigao Plateau.
WRD Minister, Subhash Shirodkar; ISRO Chairman Somanath S.; former ISRO Chairman, A. S. Kiran Kumar; Vice-Chancellor of Goa University, Harilal Menon graced the occasion. The symposium will be held till 1st March, 2024.
Over at Goa Science Centre, Director of Department of Science,Technology & Waste Management – Levinson J.Martins inaugurated three-day Science Fiesta 2024, organised by Goa Science Centre in collaboration with Department of Science Technology & Environment.
On this occasion, an exhibition highlighting the significant development of Science and Technology was opened. The exhibition will be open for public between 10 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on the coming two days.
