A walkathon was organised from Ravindra Bhavan, Margao to Matanhy Saldhana Administrative Complex, Margao; on national voters day by the Office of the Collector & District Election Officer, South Goa.
The motive of the event was to spread awareness about the importance of voting and active participation in the electoral process.
Voters’ pledge was administered across government undertakings.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary (PWD), Sanjay Goel, IAS administered Voters’ pledge to the Secretaries & officials of Secretariat at Porvorim.
Director, Information and Publicity, Dipak Bandekar administered Voters’ pledge to the officials & staff of Department of Information and Publicity, in Panaji.
