The National Institute of Open Schooling conducts Public Examinations twice a year, in the months of April–May and October–November, on dates fixed by the NIOS Headquarters.
The NIOS Public Examination (Theory) for Secondary and Senior Secondary Courses for April 2026 is scheduled to be held from 10th April 2026 at designated examination centres in the states of Maharashtra and Goa. The date sheet is available on the NIOS website:
