NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated energy company, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) today with the Electricity Department, Government of Goa (ED-Goa) for power allocation from Sipat Stage-III, located in Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh.
The agreement was formalised today at the office of the Electricity Department, Goa. The PPA was signed by P. R. Jena, General Manager (Commercial), NTPC WR-I HQs, and Stephen Fernandes, Chief Electrical Engineer, Electricity Department, Goa.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in strengthening Goa’s power infrastructure and securing long-term, reliable electricity supply for the state. It also underscores NTPC’s steadfast commitment to supporting India’s energy needs through sustainable and dependable power generation.
