OPENING FILM ‘ALMA & OSKAR’ KICKS OFF IFFI 53 IN GOA

PANAJI: Austrian director Dieter Berner’s ‘Alma and Oskar’ kicked off the 53rd International Film Festival of India, here in Goa on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier, the Information & Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, MoS for I&B Dr L Murugan, Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Ravinder Bhakar, MD, NFDC; felicitated the cast of Alma & Oskar.

Alma and Oskar is a biopic based on the subject of the passionate and tumultuous relationship between the Viennese society Grand Dame Alma Mahler and Austrian artist Oskar Kokoschka. The film has a total runtime of 110 minutes.

Meanwhile, IFFI 53 can be also be joined by the virtual mode.
