PANAJI: Bicholim Cricket Club scored a narrow four-run win over Paramount Sports Club in Panjim Gymkhana’s Bandodkar T20 cricket at PG ground, Campal.
Bicholim won the toss and elected to bat. With contributions from Shubham Chari (42), Govind Ghadi (16), Akhil Shetye (14) and Manoj Varak (11), Bicholim posted a total of 130/9 in 20 overs.
Darshan Mahindrakar (28/5) was the pick of the bowlers for Paramount. Rahul Nerulkar, Om Phadte, Abhishek Goyal and Rajan Nerulkar claimed a wicket each.
In reply, Paramount were restricted to 126/7. Nikit Dalal (32) was the top-scorer, while Om Phadte contributed 29 runs and Arsh Sardesai made 21. Bicholim’s Govind Ghadi took two wickets while Abhijit Talekar and Amir Kedekar picked a wicket each.
