Talking about the film, the producer Himanshu Dhanuka said the film poses the protagonist Priyanshu Chatterjee representing the multifaceted persona of Tagore, embarking on a journey to solve a murder mystery set in the contemporary era, unravelling a narrative woven across two distinct timelines. The film stands as an ode to the mystical realms of Rabindranath Tagore’s poetry, exploring the complexities of human emotions and identity,” said Dhanuka.

Dhanuka also said that the film, intertwining two timelines in a captivating narrative will leave an indelible imprint on hearts and minds, much like the eternal verses of Rabindranath Tagore.

He said that the film is set to captivate audiences in West Bengal and theatres nationwide early next year.

‘Rabindra Kabya Rahasya’ serves as an ode to the era’s unsung heroes and aims to unveil the truth behind the attempts to paint Tagore as an antagonist”, said Dhanuka.

Set against the poetic tapestry of Rabindranath Tagore’s literary legacy, ‘Rabindra Kabya Rahasya’ unveils a narrative that transcends the boundaries of time and emotions. The film is a murder mystery set in two timelines – one 100 years back and one of the present times. A century ago, the poet Ekalavya Sen fell victim to deception by his peers, who shamelessly plagiarized his poetic works. Seeking retribution, Ekalavya orchestrated their demise. In a race against time, poet and sleuth Abhik Bose teams up with Rabindra Sangeet singer Hiya Sen to decode a century –old mystery, triggered by a vengeful poet’s message. As they delve into a web of murders echoing Rabindranath Tagore’s life, they unearth hidden artifacts, a nefarious plot to undermine India’s cultural heritage, and a truth that could reshape history. The story unfurls in the picturesque landscapes of Bengal, where disparate lives converge, echoing the thematic threads woven in Tagore’s evocative poems. Amidst the scenic beauty and the mystical charm of the region, the film delves into the intricacies of human relationships, aspirations, and the pursuit of inner truths.
