‘RAFAELA’ AT IFFI 52: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC’S HONY ESTRELLA, JUDITH RODRIGUEZ & EDWARD DIAZ AWESTRUCK BY INDIA

PANAJI: World Panorama film ‘Rafaela’ (Spanish) from Dominican Republic cast and crew expressed their amazement and delight about Indian cinema and the facilities at the ongoing 52nd International Film Festival of India here in Goa.

Actor and producers Hony Estrella and Judith Rodriguez along with the production company representative Edward Diaz; savoured the experience of watching the world premiere of their film “incredible cinema room amongst impeccable audience”.

“It is an honour for us to be here,” added renowned lead actor Judith Rodriguez, who mentioned that this was the first visit to India for the DR filmmakers. “In such technology, it was like watching our movie all over again. We found new things,” remarked Edward Diaz.

“We are amazed by how advanced you (India) are in cinema material and the industry… It’s remarkable! And the Inox cinema screens are huge and these images incredible, and how you can appreciate the movie, is even more than our normal experience. We had a super realistic experience while watching Rafaela on that screen! We are so happy, thank you so much, ” said Hony Estrella.

‘Rafaela’, a Spanish film, is based on a story of young girl from a Caribbean slum & a gang leader who seeks revenge against the thug that stole all her loot and left her pregnant.
