PANAJI: Goa’s international archer Snehal Divakar is determined to do her best at the upcoming selection trials for India probables in view of Tokyo Olympics 2021.
Speaking to ‘Live News Goa’, Snehal revealed her Rio 2016 experience and vowed to better her performance in the selection trials to be held in Jamshedpur from November 23 to 27.
Being the first Goan sportsperson to knock on the doors of team India for two successive Olympic Games, Snehal is an inspiration for the state sports fraternity in general due to her passion to keep going over the last 10 years. She has represented India at archery World Cup, World University Games and Asian championships among others. Snehal had face the frustration of COVID-19 restrictions that kept her away from her training, however, with the situation improving, she has been working hard with her coach Priya Laxmi Devi.
