With much enthusiasm, Sinquerim Sports Club launched their club kit ahead of their Goa Women’s League opener against FC Tuem on Friday. The club colours were launched at Poira ground on Thursday.
“Our girls are representing Vedanta Women’s League for the second time, we have registered 20 players who are ready to give their best,” said Sinquerim SC secretary Laxman Hadfadkar.
Sinquerim have an mutual understanding with the Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) and have absorbed players from GFDC’s Poira centre. The side is coached by Madhukar Tari and Paixao Gomes. It is managed by Alok Kothambikar and Nimisha Haldankar. The kit is sponsored by Andrea’s Media Solutions.
“It is an immense honour to support women’s football in our state, especially Sinquerim SC. I wish the girls to give their best and most importantly, enjoy the beautiful game,” said Andrea Fernandes.
