On the directions of the Collector and District Magistrate, South Goa, the Mamlatdars and Joint-Mamlatdars of the district conducted a special mutation camp on 17th October 2026 to expedite the disposal of pending mutation cases.
All Mamlatdars and Joint-Mamlatdars participated in the special camp and undertook the disposal of pending cases. A total of 210 mutation cases were disposed of during the camp, comprising 130 cases in Salcete taluka, 47 cases in Mormugao taluka and 33 cases in Ponda taluka.
The remaining pending cases will be taken up for disposal during the regular course of proceedings and in the next special mutation camp scheduled for 24 October 2026.
The initiative is aimed at expediting the disposal of pending mutation cases and ensuring timely delivery of services to the public.
