SPECIALISTS FROM DELHI GUIDE LOCAL PHYSIOTHERAPISTS AT SPINAL CORD REHAB CENTRE IN GOA

The Spinal Cord Rehab Centre,  a collaborative initiative between the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) , Rugnashraya Bambolim and in association with World renowned Indian Spinal injuries Centre, New Delhi; has officially commenced operations at Bambolim, North Goa.

Launched amidst the International Purple Fest, Goa 2024, this centre is dedicated to the comprehensive rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injuries.

Indian Spinal injuries Centre, New Delhi is the most advanced Spine, Orthopedic and Neuromuscular Surgical centre in India with the latest state-of-the-art diagnostics and surgical equipment and a highly qualified team of specialists recognized internationally who have been trained in leading institutes of India and abroad. Indian Spinal Injuries Centre provides state of the art facilities for the management of all types of spinal ailments. It has a team of dedicated, internationally trained & acclaimed spine surgeons providing cutting edge medical & surgical technology. 

Currently, the Spinal Cord Rehab Centre at Bambolim is actively accommodating patients with a focus on delivering a range of treatments to facilitate their recovery. This initiative, another positive outcome of the International Purple Fest, addresses a crucial requirement in Goa. Previously, spinal cord injury patients had to travel to other states for treatment, incurring substantial expenses and spending months away. The establishment of this facility is a relief for patients in Goa, providing complete rehab services at a nominal cost.
