Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India, Sarbananda Sonowal and Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated newly-constructed Captain of Ports Terminal Building at Panaji.
The state-of-the-art riverfront facility has been developed to strengthen maritime administration, improve navigational monitoring, and enhance public-facing services associated with inland and coastal waterways.
The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy – Shripad Naik; Minister for Captain of Ports, Digambar Kamat; Minister for Social Welfare, Subhash Phal Dessai; Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sadanand Shet Tanavade among others.
