Studio 07, a reputed Fine Arts Academy and Studio from Vasco, will host its 5th annual Painting Exhibition in Panaji this time. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Rajendra Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh, on 2nd February at Art Gallery, Sanskriti Bhavan-Patto, at 5.30 PM.
Deogonda R. Patil, Dy. Project Manager (Structure) of DBL will be guest of honour. Noted artist Nagueshrao Sardessai will be special invitee. In all, 65 paintings by 35 students shall be displayed in the exhibition for two days. The exhibition will remain open till 3rd February, 6 PM.
Art work by the students of the academy, will be displayed in the exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is ‘Master Strokes,’ wherein the students of the academy have recreated the masterpieces by the artists. The exhibition is sponsored by DBL (Dilip Buildcon Limited), states a press release.
Studio 07, which trains the children from Mormugao Taluka in painting and fine arts, have been working towards promoting art in the society as young minds are the best to sow the seeds of art.
