Goa Yoga Association’s men’s and women’s teams will represent Goa at the 49th Senior National Yoga Sports Championships from 13th to 17th February in Thiruvananthapuram.
The prestigious championship comprises yogasan, artistic single and pair, rhythmic pair and free flow competitions.
The Goan team was accorded a send-off by Sports Minister Govind Gaude, with the team buzzing with confidence ahead of the Nationals. Goa senior team has been performing consistently during the last two years with bronze and silver medals to show for their efforts.
The National championship will be inaugurated by the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarai Vijayan on 13th February.
