‘TRANSFORMING EDUCATION THROUGH STEAM’ MBCIE WEBINAR ON JULY 1

PANAJI: Munjal Birmingham City University Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MBCIE) will organise a webinar, focussing on the topic of ‘Transforming Education through STEAM’ on July 1, 2021, at 4pm (IST), says an emailed event-curtain raiser.

Promoted by Munjal family (Hero Group) and Birmingham City University, UK, MBCIE is engaged in supporting education, industrial innovation and entrepreneurship. The organisation endeavours transformation of education through ‘STEAM’, bringing together elements of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

“As concerns grow about the lack of creativity in the school and college curriculum, STEAM is becoming increasingly popular because it: Provides an opportunity to change stereotypical ways of teaching and learning; Emphasises more engaging, participatory, and socially relevant approaches; Uses integrated approach, leading to deeper learning & deployment of 21st Century skills,” states the programme description with the session objectives highlighted as follows.
