PANAJI: Parvatibai Chowgule College Of Arts & Science (PCCAS), the first autonomous college in the state of Goa and a NAAC A+ accredited institution has collaborated with ‘True School of Music’ (TSM) to conduct the one of its kind certification “Pro Music Production Programme” at the Chowgule Centre for Creative Arts, starting at the end October 2022, states a press release.
The stakeholders also plan to launch a series of music workshops, talks, seminars every month, a junior music production programme (6 months course) for 8-10th standard students as well as a course for professional musicians and music teachers interested in music production.
Students of this 2-year professional music programme will have flexible learning pathways to complete their certificate in Goa and progress to music degrees at True School’s national and international partner institutions.
The course is open to 16-18 years or 10- 12+ students and one doesn’t need to be a musician or one who is learning music or an instrument/ vocals but to everyone who is inclined towards listening to music, programming, production, arranging or technology.
TSM will launch in Goa with a free interactive workshop with industry experts Ashutosh Phatak and Suresh Peters, where one can discover everything you need to know about careers and opportunity in the Music Industry and how you can monetise your skill of making music into a successful profession.
The workshop will be held on 17th September here in North Goa at Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) 6pm onwards. The programme comprises 6 to 7 pm : Music Production – ‘The Magic Behind The Scenes’ by Suresh Peters; 7 to 8 pm : Music Production – ‘Being a MusicPrenuer’ by Ashutosh Phatak. South Goa will host the workshop on 18th September at Chowgule College of Arts & Sciences in Margao; with the schedule being – 11am to 1pm : Interactive session with TSM faculty (for young learners + students) in our Production lab at Chowgule Centre for Creative Arts (CCCA), 3pm to 5pm : Interactive session with TSM Faculty in our Production lab at Chowgule Centre for Creative Arts (CCCA) for Working professionals; 6 to 8 pm : A talk & workshop at lower Auditorium, Chowgule College of Arts & Sciences in Margao.
