USA-BASED THOMAS VALENTI TO BE AN EXPERT ASSESSOR AT ‘LEX INFINITUM 2022’

PANAJI: Founder Member of Association for International Dispute Resolution (AIDR), Thomas P. Valenti will be an expert assessor at seventh edition of Lex Infinitum 2022 and also a resource person at the Knowledge Sessions, scheduled from 19th to 21st February 2022.

‘Lex Infinitum: International Dispute Resolution Competition’, has been organised by V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar-Goa, in collaboration with AIDR, from 23rd to 27th February 2022 in an online mode.

Thomas P. Valenti, who is based in the United States of America, in his message says: “Lex Infinitum returns in an online format again this year. It is offering both international students to learn skills from international dispute resolution experts. Uniquely, members of the community in Goa are offered the same opportunity to interact with and learn from these experts as well.”

Valenti is an alternative dispute resolution practitioner, lawyer, mediator, chartered arbitrator, facilitator, and trainer offering neutral services. His services include mediation, arbitration, and facilitation relative to civil and commercial disputes, family/interpersonal conflict, injury disputes, employment disputes, workshop facilitation, training, community disputes & community dialogue facilitation both locally and globally.

He has vast experience in Private Conflict Resolution Practice. He was a mediator at the Circuit Court of Cook County. He is a member of  CPR – Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, a fellow at the  Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – (FCIArb), he is a Neutral Arbitrator for Injury, Commercial and UK Asbestos panels at  American Arbitration Association. He is  Associate Member Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – North American Branch (ACIArb), a Public Panel Arbitrator at  FINRA,  a Mediator at  Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (“CAM-CCBC”), founding Member, Mediators Beyond Borders International, board Member, International Academy of Dispute Resolution, Advisory Board Member, AMATI, The Association of Mediation Assessors, Trainers and Instructors,  Neutral Arbitrator and Mediator at  National Arbitration Forum, Neutral Arbitrator and Mediator,  Center for Resolution, Neutral at American Board of Neutrals Association (ABNA). He is Mentor to Young Mediators Initiative at the International Mediation Institute’s, Vice-Chair Mediation Committee at International Bar Association, Member of Section on International Law at American Bar Association, Steering Group, Lawyers Abroad Committee, Mediation & Arbitration Committees, Pro-Bono Committee and  ABA 40 Hour International Family Mediation Training including Hague Convention.
