Goa’s international rally driver Vaibhav Marathe notched up multiple podium finishes at the prestigious FMSCI Indian National Autocross Championship (INAC) and the Chikmagalur Gravel Fest Autocross, held on 28th and 29th March in Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
Representing the All Goa Motorsports Association, Vaibhav delivered a strong performance in Chikmagalur, competing against some of the top drivers from across the country.
At the INAC event organised under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), Vaibhav showcased exceptional consistency and skill, securing:
• 1st Runner-Up in the Up to 1650cc category
• 2nd Runner-Up in the INAC Unrestricted Open category
Continuing his strong performance at the Chikmagalur Gravel Fest, Vaibhav added the following finishes:
• 1st Runner-Up in Up to 1650cc category
• 1st Runner-Up in Up to 2000cc category
• 1st Runner-Up in the Open Class
Competing on challenging gravel terrain against elite national-level competitors, Vaibhav’s consistent podium finishes across both events highlight his talent, determination, and consolidates his stature in Indian motorsports.
The Ponda-based Vaibhav’s achievements have brought immense pride to Goa, further strengthening the state’s presence on the national and international motorsports stage.
