Ishaan Colaso, Yug Prabhu, Ashank Dalvi and Aarish Shaikh were among the standout performers as they booked their places in the semi-finals of their respective events at the 6th Naguesh and Sushila Verenkar Memorial Table Tennis Ranking Tournament, organised by Chandor Club under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association at the Chandor Club Multipurpose Hall.
In the Boys’ Under-11 quarter-finals, Ashank Dalvi defeated Urvansh Pathak 3-0, Kedar Nair overcame Ved Sanvordekar 3-0, Vardhan Verlekar beat Ronan Menezes Gama 3-1, and Aarish Shaikh outclassed Cladwyn Miranda 3-0.
In the Boys’ Under-13 quarter-finals, Yuvaan Sanke defeated Kaushik Nair 3-0, Yug Prabhu registered a 3-0 win over Aarish Shaikh, Mission Lalpekhlua blanked Aryan Kanji 3-0, while Ishaan Colaso completed the semi-final line-up with a convincing 3-0 victory against Shreysht Rane.
