Arjun Rane will clash with Urvansh Pathak in the Boys’ Under-9 final, while Sachi Dessai will take on Tisha Shaikh in the Girls’ Under-13 title clash at the 6th Naguesh and Sushila Verenkar Memorial Table Tennis Ranking Tournament, organised by Chandor Club under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association at the Chandor Club Multipurpose Hall.
In the Boys’ Under-9 semi-finals, Arjun Rane edged past Yajat Keny 3-2 in a thrilling contest, while Urvansh Pathak defeated Ziyaan Shaikh 3-0. In the Girls’ Under-13 semi-finals, Sachi Dessai outplayed Vanlalrinzuali 3-0, while Tisha Shaikh registered an equally convincing 3-0 win over Inara D’Souza.
Earlier, in the Boys’ Under-9 quarter-finals, Yajat Keny defeated Shiv Chopdekar 3-1, Arjun Rane overcame Ronan Menezes Gama 3-0, Urvansh Pathak beat Rudr Nadkarni 3-0, and Ziyaan Shaikh prevailed over Vivaan Rane 3-2.
In the Girls’ Under-13 quarter-finals, Sachi Dessai defeated Kavya Mahambre 3-0, Vanlalrinzuali overcame Trisha Kamat 3-0, Tisha Shaikh beat Lalruatsangi 3-0, and Inara D’Souza outclassed Anaya Shukla 3-0 to book their places in the last four.
