‘VISION GOA’ MEGA EXHIBITION BEGINS IN PANAJI

‘Vision Goa 2023’ mega exhibition is a great opportunity for people to understand the working and achievements of Public sector companies and undertakings in various sectors such as Defence , Space , Medical research , Geological research ,Handicrafts and Handloom, Water Resources, Shipping and Ports; as India has embarked on the path to become ‘Atmanirbhar’.

The three-day exhibition at Panjim Convention Center, was inaugurated by Vinay Tendulkar, on Wednesday. The mega exhibition showcases department’s achievements, innovation, and commitment to public service. It provides an insightful look into the vital work carried out by every Government department, which impacts the lives of countless citizens in India.

Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) works to enhance India’s defence capability through its research and projects and develops defence equipment and technologies. This exhibition will also showcase the technological advancement, equipment developed as well as the different innovations in the field of defence.

The participation of Department of Space is a testament to their commitment to advancing India’s space capabilities and fostering public engagement. NSIL, a government-owned company under the Department of Space, has been instrumental in commercialising space products, technical consultancy services, and transfer of technologies developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

NSIL will have a prominent presence with an array of engaging activities and exhibits Space innovations, educational Initiatives, satellite display, commerce space ventures and other prominent government departments like SBI, NFDB, ONGC, BPCL, SCL, HUDCO, BIS, GSI, NSTFDC, NDDB, CPCB, DC handicrafts, DC Handlooms, Coir Boar .Special Shipping, Waterways and water resources pavilion having Department of water resources Government of Goa, Cochin Shipyard, Inland Waterways, JNPA, Mormugao Port Authority, Shipping Corporation of India, Deendayal port, CGWB. Science & Technology as well as Research Development Pavilion having DRDO, NSIL, ICMR, ICAR, CIPET, CSIR and NATMOwill be participating in the exhibition.
