PANAJI: One of India’s Leading Hospitality Management Institutes, V M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the prestigious César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and its sub-brand Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, says a press release.
The MOU which is valid for 2 years, was signed by Dattaraj V. Salgaocar, Chairman of VM Salgaocar Corporation Pvt. Ltd and Prof Irfan Mirza, Director of VMSIIHE, with Yong Shen, CEO of Swiss Education Group and Dr David Knuff, VP of Academic Excellence and Innovation, at Swiss Education Group which mutually agrees to work closely to meet the shared objectives and vision of the two leading institutes.
The agreement allows students of VMSIIHE who have successfully completed the Bachelors programme, to progress towards either a Masters of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurship, Masters of Arts in Culinary Business Management or a Swiss Grand Diploma in Pasty and Chocolate Arts.
The collaboration brings knowledge transfer and faculty exchange in training and teaching-learning methods and other education efforts in the future. It also includes masterclasses delivered by faculty experts online or on-site whether in India or Switzerland.
