PANAJI: Entertainment Society of Goa’s Cinephile Film Club will celebrate Women’s Day with film screenings, in association with Women’s Studies Programme, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy, Goa University; on 8th March, at Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex, here.

Chakori (Dir by Sumitra Bhave, Sunil Sukhtankar, 30 mins)
She Write (Dir by Anjali Monteiro, KP Jayasankar, 54 mins)
Date: Tuesday, 8th March 2022, 9.30 am onwards. Venue: Auditorium I, Maquinez Palace, ESG, Panjim
At 6.30 pm on 8th March, the Cinephile Film Club will screen The Beaches of Agnes (112 mins, 2008) directed by Agnès Varda, the legendary filmmaker who broke the glass ceiling. This documentary has the director reflecting on her memories, through art. Meanwhile, there will be no screening on Thursday, 10th March; states a press release.
