37TH NATIONAL GAMES GOA 2023: BADMINTON TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BEGINS ON THURSDAY

The badminton event will commence at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, at Taleigao Plateau on Thursday morning. Goa is thus set to accord a smashing start to the prestigious 37th National Games, which will be opened in grand style by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26th October at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.


The badminton event will start with league stage matches in the men’s and women’s team Championships. The event concludes on 24th October with individual category finals. With a host of talented national shuttlers set to turn up, Goan badminton fans can expect a treat to be served at the magnificent SPM stadium. Members of the public will be provided free entry for all events of the 37th National Games.

Meanwhile, the inspection at other venues continue. Sports Minister Govind Gaude  conducted a preparatory review for the Archery discipline at Goa Engineering College Ground, Farmagudi.
