37TH NATIONAL GAMES GOA: CHIEF MINISTER DR. PRAMOD SAWANT INSPECTS CAMPAL SPORTS COMPLEX

Continuing to monitor the readiness of various venues for the upcoming 37th National Games Goa 2023, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inspected the sports complex at Campal on Thursday.

Dr Sawant visited the Indoor Stadium and interacted with Goa Badminton Team, who are training there. He also took the stock of the preparations underway at Campal Ground. The Chief Minister also visited the Manohar Parrikar Swimming Complex, Campal. Secretary (Sports), Swetika Sachan, IAS, Secretary to Chief Minister, Ajit Roy, IAS, Secretary (Revenue), Sandip Jacques,IAS & other officials were also present.

The Campal sports complex is scheduled to hold three events during the 37th National Games Goa – Kabaddi (November 4th – November 8th), Aquatics (October 29th – November 4th), and Table Tennis (October 29th – November 2nd.

Meanwhile, the torch relay made its way into South Goa with Social Welfare Minister, Subhash Phal Dessai flagging off the 37th National Games Torch relay from Quepem. Mamlatdar Prataprao Gaunkar, DySP Nilesh Rane and QMC Chairperson Suchita Shirvoikar were also present.
