Around 700 runners took part in Goa University Marathon 2022 that conveyed a message of importance of fitness and good health, with a theme of “Health is your Right”.
This marathon was exclusively for the students and employees of affiliated colleges and Goa University Campus.
All the races at the Goa University Marathon 2022 was flagged off by Vice Chancellor Goa University Prof. Harilal B. Menon in the presence of Prof. Vishnu S. Nadkarni, Registrar, Goa University, M Shreedhara, Joint Registrar (Administration), Goa University and the Marathon committee members.
Governor P. S. Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the prize distribution ceremony along with Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Tourism, Mauvin Godinho, Transport Minister, Goa University VC Prof. Harilal B. Menon and Registrar Prof. Vishnu S. Nadkarni.
