The Spinal Cord Rehab Centre, a collaborative initiative between the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) , Rugnashraya Bambolim and in association with World renowned Indian Spinal injuries Centre, New Delhi; has officially commenced operations at Bambolim, North Goa.
Launched amidst the International Purple Fest, Goa 2024, this centre is dedicated to the comprehensive rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injuries.

This initiative, another positive outcome of the International Purple Fest, addresses a crucial requirement in Goa. Previously, spinal cord injury patients had to travel to other states for treatment, incurring substantial expenses and spending months away. The establishment of this facility is a relief for patients in Goa, providing complete rehab services at a nominal cost.
