Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Adivasi Vidyarthi Sammelan 2024, a significant event under the ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh’ initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Organised by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare in collaboration with the United Tribal Association Alliance (UTAA), the event showcased the government’s commitment to empowering tribal communities.
The Adivasi Pradnyavant Puraskar was launched on the occasion alongwith the onboarding of Tribal Welfare Schemes on the CM’s Portal.
The Chief Minister congratulated the recipients of the Adivasi Pradnyavant Puraskar. The meritorious students from tribal communities were awarded certificates and a cash prize of Rs 20,000 each. Their achievements inspire pride and set a benchmark for excellence.
Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phaldesai, Law Minister Aleixo Sequeira, MLA UlhasTuenkar, Dr. Pranoy Baidya were also present.
